AIANH Hosts Tours and Dinner in Recognition of Hampton Beach Design and Development Project, Hampton Beach, NH.

As part of its ongoing program of events at significant architectural sites in New Hampshire, AIANH hosted a gathering for its membership on August 16, 2012 at Hampton Beach State Park. The afternoon began with tours of the redesigned Ocean Boulevard “boardwalk” with its recently completed shade structures, granite benches, native plantings, bath houses, parking areas, and iconic “Sunfish” crosswalk markers. The evening concluded with dinner and presentations in the conference room of the new Seashell performance complex. Illustrated summaries of the project’s phases were given by key personnel from Samyn D’Elia Architects, ORW Landscape Architects and Planners, Vanasse Hangen Brustlin, Inc., and Harvey Construction Corporation. CGD’s role in the design of the sign program, information kiosks, and “Sunfish” was also recognized.
