Conceptual Investigation of Color and Graphics
Project Description
Collaboration with others is fundamental to the nature and success of design projects. If the designer is receptive to good ideas from the client, the intern, the printer, the fabricator, the craftsman, and other professionals, the result will be better than the designer could achieve alone. Collaboration with another designer who shares a similar vision and an understanding of the problem-solving process can be especially rewarding.
For Alpina Corporation, designer and educator, Peter Robbie, and CGD were asked to explore variations or “iterations” in the location and quantity of color and graphics using one of the company’s ski boots as a constant. The designers generated accurate renderings of each option for presentation to the Client.
