A Civic Gem
Claremont Opera House
Claremont, New Hampshire
Season and Challenge Brochures
Project Description
The Claremont Opera House is one New Hampshire’s finest examples of civic architecture. In the tradition of other Northern New England “gems” such as Vermont’s Barre Opera House, a meticulously detailed and acoustically superb performance hall upstairs carries on a symbiotic relationship with municipal offices on the first floor. Originally designed as a venue for community performances and vaudeville, Claremont’s opera house now boasts a full season of world-class performing artists.
Throughout the tenure of program director, John Goyette, CGD was retained to design the Opera House’s season brochure covers, program covers, and fundraising pieces including the 100th Anniversary Challenge brochure.
